At the end of the second day at the Iguazu Waterfalls I went for a pre-dinner walk back to the edge of the falls just below the hotel and I soon became aware of a pair of Toco Toucans flying in and out of a tree behind me. After watching them for a while I realised that they were bringing food to their nest in the bough of the tree. This picture shows one of the Toucans bringing a baby weaver bird to feed to its chick. The other thing that I found interesting when processing this picture is the Toucans tongue, take a close look!
