You have been framed
This was just about as close as I would ever like to get to a polar bear. It had approached our ship (MS Stockholm) as we made our way through the pack ice off Nordaustlandet at Austfonnna in Svalbard. I crouched down and took this shot through a hawsehole on the side of the ship having first ensured that I had space to move backwards quickly if I had to.
