At the landing point at New island in the Falklands there is a derelict hulk of an old sealing vessel (Protector III) that was beached there in 1969. The copper plating on the hull has corroded and partly broken away leaving some amazing colours and patterns. You can see where the ships draught numbers have partly peeled away.
